Lanique A. Roberts is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Family Law Departments.

As part of her Litigation practice, Ms. Roberts conducts legal research and drafts legal memoranda analyzing issues for the firm’s commercial litigation matters. Ms. Roberts drafts various filings including motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.  Furthermore, Ms. Roberts assists commercial clients in pre-trial discovery.  

As part of her Family Law practice, Ms. Roberts aids clients in the discovery and preparation of marital assets for equitable distribution in matrimonial matters. Ms. Roberts also has experience drafting motions advocating on behalf of clients in matrimonial matters.

While in law school, Ms. Roberts served on Penn State Law’s Civil Rights Appellate Clinic, where she prepared Federal appellate briefs before the First and Third Circuits. Ms. Roberts was also a legal intern for the Pennsylvania Utility Law Project, where she drafted comments and presented oral testimony in response to proposed Pennsylvania utility laws and administrative rulemakings. Ms. Roberts spent a semester as a legal intern for Project Vote in Washington, D.C., where she conducted legal research and prepared policy and legal memoranda to assist the organization in its strategic defense of the National Voter Registration Act. Ms. Roberts was recognized as a Penn State Law Miller Public Interest Advocate for her work in the public interest sector.

Ms. Roberts has played an active role in her local and regional communities. Ms. Roberts served on the State College Meals on Wheels Board of Directors as a Penn State Leading Law Student.  Ms. Roberts also served as the Director of Social Action and Corporate Relations Specialist for the Mid-Atlantic Region of the National Black Law Students Association.
