Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP partner David L. Ladov was selected as the chair of the Domestic Relations Procedural Rules Committee for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. The Domestic Relations Procedural Rules Committee advises the Supreme Court on matters related to the procedural rules governing actions for divorce, support, custody, paternity and protection from abuse.

As chair of the firm’s family law department, Ladov handles both routine and complex cases, representing clients in a wide range of matters involving the most personal and sensitive legal issues that affect every aspect of families in transition. He is a past president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Pennsylvania Chapter, and a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is also a past chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section. Ladov is now chair of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Domestic Relations Procedural Rules Committee, and the editor of Slicing Up the Pie, a PBI Press Publication on property division in Pennsylvania, and editor of the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer.
