PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania-–May 1, 2012-–Obermayer’s partner Michael E. Bertin, participated in the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s (PBI) Annual Family Law Institute recently held and webcast live in Philadelphia. Bertin, presented the plenary session and the case law updates for equitable distribution and support.

Bertin, a member of the firm's Litigation and Family Law Practice Group, has an active family law practice. He handles all phases of the negotiation and litigation of domestic relations cases, including divorce, custody, support, alimony, property distribution, adoption, prenuptial agreements and related issues.

He is also an in-demand author and co-wrote the book on Pennsylvania child custody law. His newly released book, Pennsylvania Child Custody Law, Practice, and Procedure, consists of carefully condensed law and forms that keeps attorneys and the courts current on all areas of Pennsylvania child custody law.
